Eastern Essence Treatments

All of the treatments below are performed by a specialist who is nationally certified in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Massage and Oncology Utilizing a 5,000 year old tradition, Oriental medicine incorporates a variety of interrelated and highly effective modalities into a medical system that treats each individual as a whole entity, rather than simply treating “symptoms.” Herbal Medicine is the natural partner to acupuncture. Many internal diseases or chronic conditions can benefit greatly from the use of oriental herbal therapies.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles on the body’s surface, in order to influence physiological functioning of the body (i.e. enhance the body’s innate ability to restore itself to homeostasis – complete balance and health). This is an opportunity to find where your body is out of balance. Most diseases and disharmonies can be traced to an imbalance of yin and yang energies within the body. You will complete a health questionnaire prior to your appointment – your signs and symptoms – which will determine a personalized treatment. This treatment includes an herbal consult if you desire.

Tui’ Na
This unique massage seeks to establish a more harmonious flow of Qi and blood, allowing the body to naturally heal itself. Most diseases and disharmonies can be traced to an imbalance of yin and yang energies within the human body. The rebalancing of yin and yang will help to alleviate painful systems caused by digestive disorders, stress, PMS and fatigue. Tui' Na uses a variety of hand techniques to stimulate acupoints, to activate the flow of Qi, and to manipulate the soft tissues and articular relationships of the physical body. To further enhance your Tui' Na treatment you may include a Chinese herbal consultation, auricular therapy, cupping, and/or Chinese liniment to your session.

Wellness Massage
This exclusive treatment is designed to support and nourish internal organs and the immune system. It is a treatment of the "whole" person, which simultaneously provides healing and the reconnection of the body, mind and spirit. Healing oil and warm stones are used to infuse acupoints. This massage also incorporates acupressure, Tui' Na, and reflexology. This is an excellent treatment for someone suffering from stress, fatigue, cancer, or any chronic illness.

Acu-Na
Acu-Na is the unique combination of treatment techniques. Tui’ Na will locate physical blocks in the energy flow in your body. The results of this physical diagnosis will then be considered when determining the acupuncture points. During this treatment you will feel the meridians and points and experience your body’s energy like never before. An herbal consult may be included if you desire.
