WestinWORKOUT features state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment and LCD screen monitors. Address all of your health and fitness goals by taking advantage of our nationally certified heath and fitness specialists. WestinWORKOUT: - All guests of The Westin Kierland receive complimentary use of the workout facility, open 24 hours with room card access. - Facility fees without purchase of an Agave Spa treatment or service is $20 per day for Resort guests to use the spa facilities including the sauna, steam room and whirlpool. - Non-Resort guests will need to purchase a spa service at Agave, which will give them unlimited access to the spa facilities and fitness studio on the day services are rendered. Personal Fitness: FORE-MAX™ Training Systems See information sheet for more details on this exclusive training program for all golf and general fitness strength and flexibility training. General Fitness Program ~ 1 class ~ 4 classes ~ 8 class ~ 12 classes Lose weight, energize, tone up, and strengthen. Experience one of the most diverse fitness programs available. This revolutionary training class incorporates interval training, strength training, and flexibility training all in one 80-minute session. This class will not only provide a total body workout, but it will also educate you on new and exciting ways to start or change your current workout program. Personal Training ~ 1 class ~ 3 classes ~ 5 class ~ 10 classes Traveling doesn’t mean you have to skip your workout. Train with a health and fitness professional to enhance your current exercise program. Whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete you can take part in this motivating service. Each session is 50 minutes. Private Yoga or Meditation ~ 50 minutes In a one-on-one setting, learn easy and subtle postures to increase flexibility, enhance physical and emotional well-being and aid in stress reduction. Personalized to your preference, let one of our experienced instructors work one-on-one with you to create a mind/body connection. Animal Yoga - Our young guests ages 7-12 can emulate animals when they 'roar like a lion’, ‘stretch like a cat’, ‘slither like a cobra’ and discover how their little bodies move when they breathe. Tai Chi – Tai Chi is a series of fluid movement postures that focus on sensing, building, and balancing the body’s Qi. Qi is the vital force in the body that maintains each individual’s health and fitness. The practice of Tai Chi Qigoing develops relaxation, supple strength, flexibility, personal energy, increased vitality and body/mind/energy awareness. (One hour) Well-Walk - This 50 min walk will take you on a journey through much of our Kierland community. This walk is suitable for all guests, and is an ideal add-on class to both the hatha yoga, and our Tai Chi classes. Body Composition ~ 30 minutes Assess your lean muscle-to-body fat percentage and receive a complete software profile of each body site tested. Refrain from exercise and caffeine prior to this appointment. Please wear a loose fitting shirt and shorts. Nutritional Assessment ~ 50 minutes This treatment is to help achieve better health through better nutrition. You will receive recommendations on what to eat and what to avoid eating, along with what herbal, vitamin or mineral supplements might be best for you based on results gained from your intake form, which is to be completed prior to treatment.
