Fall Activities

Yoga (Agave, The Arizona Spa)
Monday-Friday 8-9am
• Tuesday & Thursday 4-5pm
• Saturday & Sunday 10-11am

Kids “Animal Yoga”
Kids ages 7-12 can enjoy “Animal Yoga” on Sunday mornings at Agave, The Arizona Spa. Kids are natural yogis with their boundless energy and natural flexibility and with this special class they will learn the techniques of breathing and movement associated with yoga asanas or postures. Throughout the 45 minute class children will roar like a lion, hop like a bunny, stretch like a giraffe, sit like a dog, and be happy and sad cats. They will learn how the muscles can elongate and relax with each stretch. After class, they will get to sip a healthy mini fruit smoothie while they share with parents the fun animal poses they learned!

Westin Kids Club
An exciting 365 day-a-year program for kids ages 4-12, celebrating the Essence of Arizona through activities, crafts, and a splash in the pool.
• Half Day 9am - 12pm; $35
• Half Day with Lunch 9am-1pm or 12-4pm; $45
• Full Day 9am-5pm; $75

Teen Club
A hangout for our guests ages 13-17 to have fun, relax, socialize, and meet new friends! Featuring movies, games, Xbox 360 and more!
• Sunday - Thursday 9am-9pm
• Friday & Saturday 9am-10pm

Tennis Lessons
Enjoy private or semi private tennis lessons with Tennis Professional Tom Breece.
Advance reservations required.
• Semi Private lesson with 3 or more players; $50 per player
• Private Lesson, 1 hour; $85
• Private Lesson, 1/2 hour; $50

Cardio Tennis Clinic
Cardio Tennis pushes your fitness to a new level with a high energy workout! It's a fun, group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate high energy workout.

Story Time
Our little guests will enjoy a reading of one of the FUN Teams favorite tales of the Southwest.

Kierland Kampfires
Guests of all ages will enjoy roasting a marshmallow over an open fire and creating our signature Arizona S'more.

Kids in the Kitchen
Kids don "Chef Whites" and take direction from the culinary staff as part of an interactive cooking program. Designed for children between the ages 5-12 (although all ages are welcome), the 90 minute program covers all areas of the culinary process from start to finish: safety, cleanliness, ingredient preparation, cooking, baking, and of course, eating! $25 per child

Arts & Crafts
Kids of all ages are invited to join the Fun Team in a special arts & crafts project that they can take home as a souvenir of their Kierland Vacation. From tie dye t-shirts, pottery painting, teddy bear stuffing, shoe creations and more, with a different craft offered daily the kids are sure to keep coming back for more! Prices vary for each activity.

Poolside Activities
Kids of all ages are invited to join the Fun Team for poolside activities. Some of the fun includes water balloon games, hula hoop, limbo, relay races, and much more!

UnWind Hour
Shift from day to night and enjoy our special "unwind" menu at the lounge in deseo. Surrender your senses with our Nuevo Latino Cuisine and special menu.

Paul McDermand
Award-Winning Paul McDerman will lead you through a vast array of standard, romantic and popular works as he performs the exuberant steel drums and sensual marimba at the Rim Lobby Lounge. 8:00pm - 11:00pm, Friday and Saturday nights

Scottish Bag Pipes at Sunset
The Westin Kierland Resort's "Scottish Pipes at Sunset" series is back with bagpiper Michael McClanathan. In keeping with the resort's "Essence of Arizona" theme, the Scottish Pipes at Sunset series pays tribute to the contributions made by the Scottish immigrants to the development of Arizona's railroads, mines, and towns.
